How To Book

Please email or phone us at any time to get help choosing an appropriate property for your stay.  We are familiar with all the homes listed, and can help narrow down your options once we find out more about you!

Once you have decided on a vacation home, just click on the “Reserve Now” button, located on each property’s web page, which generates an email to our head office.
Please list the house (or homes) that you would like to book.
Once we confirm availability, we will return your email with pricing and a link to the online payment page that will step you through the payment process.
Prior to accepting payment, you will need to view the rental agreement form.  This can be made available to you at any time, just request this from our office.

Travel information, directions to the property, and additional details will be emailed to you once the final payment has occurred.

Minimum 3 Night Bookings

We apologize that we do not accept 1 night bookings.

Some owners have higher pricing for 2 nights, so please enquire.

Payment & Taxes

Methods of Payment

We accept VISA and MASTERCARD.
All prices and payments are made in Canadian funds.  You may pay by cheque or money order if sufficient time allows for postage.

Taxes

Hotel Room Tax is presently 8% and applies to all properties….this will be subject to change when the HST is introduced.
GST (5%) is only charged on select properties and on VIVR services.

Deposit Policy

For reservations more than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, 50% of the rental is required at the time of booking.  There is flexibility on this if more than one property is booked, and if the reservation occurs more than 6 months prior to your arrival.

Once the deposit has been received, your lodging is confirmed.

The balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival date, and this policy is firm.

For reservations less than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation

Cancellation - By Guest

Confirmed vacation rental reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.  However, if you must cancel, we will attempt to re-rent your holiday accommodation.  If we are successful, you will be refunded the full amount less a 10% (with a minimum $150) administrative fee.  We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance since the properties can be difficult to re-rent.

Cancellation - By Owner

In the unlikely event that the Owner cancels a confirmed reservation or the property is rendered uninhabitable, other than as a result of a default by the Guest or an invitee of the Guest, VIVR will refund the full amount paid.  VIVR will make reasonable efforts to find another suitable property for use by the Guest.  Neither the Owner nor VIVR will be liable in any way to the Guest in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, other than set forth in this paragraph and the Guest damages or claims shall be limited to the return of the funds paid.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our priority.  No information collected by us will be shared with anyone outside of VIVR.  After your visit is complete, we destroy all credit card information on file.

Accidental Damage Plan

Our Accidental Damage Plan is a service we offer to our rental clients to protect them from accidental damage while staying at one of our homes.  For a fee of $40, this plan will provide coverage for accidental damage taking place at the home during your stay for up to a total of $500.00.  This coverage only applies to accidental damage.  A credit card number will still be required in case excessive cleaning, noise disturbance, or un-reported damage occurs. Please note that this plan does not cover any damage by pets.

This plan is non-refundable.

Security and Damage Deposit

For long-term rentals and larger groups, a security deposit agreement will replace the Accidental Damage Plan.
