Licensing… We are a registered Travel Agency under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority and hold customer payments in a monitored trust account
Damage Protection… We provide $500 of accidental damage coverage for each of the renters renting your property
Guest Services… We organize arrivals, directions, home manuals, and gather feedback
Property Management… We own North Coast Property Services and provide services on a contract basis
Housekeeping… We provide cleaners with a cleaners on a contract basis
Invoicing… We provide monthly payment & invoicing, withhold and submit taxes

Owner Responsibilities

Arrange for personal liability insurance on vacation rental property in the minimum amount of $2 million. There is usually an increase charge, so ask your insurance company for a quote. We can recommend some insurance agents that offer competitive prices.
Ensure the home is cleaned to industry standard, and the grounds are well maintained.
Provide all the essential articles needed for guests to have a relaxed stay. QIVR will provide the owner with a list of utilities and items required.
Hire a property manager who is available and reachable during guest visits. QIVR now owns and operates North Coast Property Services and will provide property management on a contract basis.
Inform us of any Owner Use of the property promptly. QIVR holds the master schedule of all rental properties, and the property is committed to paying customers in the event of a double booking.

Fees for Listing With Us

Initial Registration and Set up Fee At the time of listing one’s property with QIVR, the Owner agrees to pay QIVR one hundred and seventy five dollars ($175) plus GST as an initial registration and set up fee.

Ongoing Fees QIVR is authorized to deduct from rents received, prior to payment to the Owner, the following:

a one hundred dollar ($100) yearly administration fee (after the first year); deducted from the first booking of the year covers the annual home review and revisions entered into the database and web site
a management fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the rental revenue on all QIVR bookings plus GST on this amount
