Welcome to Malcolm Island!
We are pleased to invite you to explore this laid-back community which has a rich Finnish fishing heritage and friendly locals. Be warned, that life slows right down here, and you have no choice but to unpack, kick back and relax! Tourism is slowly becoming more developed, and there are boat charters, bike rentals, hiking trails, gravel roads to explore, miles of deserted shoreline to beachcomb, and fishing charters available.
Location, location, location!
Harbour House overlooks the bustling boat harbour, where you can dock your own boat at the government dock, or wander through the harbour looking for otters and meeting the local fishermen. Afternoon sun is lovely on the side yard, where the BBQ and lawn furniture are located.
Clean, practical, comfortable
This house is well-designed for a large family (or 2 smaller families) or a group of fishermen. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, both with double beds, and the main bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen is spacious, with loads of cupboard space and a kitchen nook overlooking the harbour.
The second floor has the master bedroom with King bed, and a single bedroom with a twin bed. There is enough space in this room for a foamie or airbed on the floor. There is a 2nd toilet upstairs, and sink.
Good for Groups
With another sleeping place on the Queen bedcouch in the living room, this house is set-up well for a group of fishermen, or a ladies weekend trip since it will sleep 5 people separately in beds, and the option of bringing an airbed for the 6th guest to set up on the 2nd floor.
Kid’s Zone
The second floor is a good zone for kids to play games and watch a movie while the adults prepare meals and socialize.
Fresh air & Fresh crab!
You will appreciate the wildness of this island…the stunning mountain vistas on Vancouver Island and mainland BC….the stars which stand out of the night sky…and hopefully the opportunity to taste some fresh crab!
Pets Welcome
Well-trained pets are welcome, but please take note of the unfenced yard, and the wandering local dogs who are reknown for sleeping in the middle of the street.

Pricing based on 4 Guests. Additional Guests cost $20/night. Pets cost $15/night or $75/week. All reservations subject to Reservation Fee & Accidental Damage Plan ($80) and applicable taxes. High season pricing applies to all Holidays. All seasons, 3 night minimum stay. Weekly Bookings Only for July & August.
