This classic Quadra cottage is ideal for fishing groups and Scuba groups. Either bring your own boat, or if you are unfamiliar with the area, hire a local dive instructor or fishing guide and they can pick you up at the dock….located a 3 minute stroll down the lane way.
Well Designed for Large Groups
The circular bedroom layout spaces out the group, and there are enough beds for 8 people to sleep separately. The amenities are older, and the kitchen is small, but the BBQ is large, there is plenty of deck space, and having 4 bathrooms is a bonus for larger groups. The living room is a nice communal area, with comfortable bench seats and a wood stove for chilly nights. The hot tub is also older, but is large enough for 4-6 adults.
Discount available for Kids 8-16
A discount is available for kids, but please be aware that this area is not ideal for young kids as there is a substantial drop to the ocean below. Therefore we do not encourage children under 8 years of age, and trust you will use your judgement on whether this is suitable for your children.
Other Details
Internet was recently installed, and cell phone coverage is good for most providers. Bring your own stereo or IPOD with speakers if you want music during your stay.
The resterant and spa at April Point resort is a short stroll away,
Year-round, you’ll enjoy the view of the mountains of Vancouver Island, lovely sunsets, and the night lights of Campbell River. As this is the main marine channel for the west coast, freighters, fish boats, ferries and other working vessels regularly travel the waters.
