Cosy, Newly Renovated
Recently renovated in the spring of 2009, this cottage has quality furnishings and is decorated by a professional home designer. The communal space is spacious, with wooden floors, comfortable couches and a natural gas fireplace to keep you cosy on cool evenings. The neutral colours of the interior and ample lighting create a well-lit atmosphere for reading, lounging and enjoying a casual evening with friends.
Pool Table
A pool table is located adjacent to the kitchen, and the open concept space from this games area continues through the kitchen to the dining area on the other side.
Ideal for 2 Couples
With both bedrooms hosting queen beds, the whole group will be content with comfortable sleeping areas and lots of closet space to hang outdoor clothing for all seasons. The one bathroom is located in the main hallway, containing the basic amenities.
Communal Riverfront Area
This small clustering of cabins in this casual resort all share a communal riverfront social area. If you prefer to enjoy some privacy, the cottage has its own fire pit right behind the cottage.
Special Notes Regarding Pets
Please note that dogs are welcome, but they must stay close to the cottage to avoid disturbing guests and residents at the other cabins. Well-behaved, non-barking dogs must be on a leash or rope during their stay.
Hiking Trails Close By
The Canyon View Trail, which follows the Campbell River up to the dam then loops back on the other side of the river, begins just up the road from this cottage. Across the road is the trailhead for the Quinsam trails, which follow the Quinsam River up to the fish hatchery. These trails are fascinating in the fall during the salmon spawning, when eagles and black bears frequent the area.
