A network of technical single track trails exist on Quadra Island, and the locals will point you in the right direction.  Wind through the temperate rainforest, up & down mossy ridges, past enticing fresh water lakes, and old logging roads.  Easier trails for beginers are located behind the Community Centre, with some super-fun stunts and the start of a dirt park built by young locals.

This resort offers an extensive trail system for lift-accessed downhill Mountain Biking for gravity-grunts who like being carried up the mountain. With 16 trails making up 35 km in total and 1657 vertical feet to descend, Mount Washington is a must for downhill mountain bikers. Their summer season begins June 30 and mountain biking opens as soon as trail conditions permit until sometime in September.
